In recent years, with the development of Internet of things, wireless sensor network technology has become a very popular research as one of the core technology of the Internet of things. Wireless sensor network is composed by a large number of sensor nodes which are deployed in the monitoring region. Nodes complete the work by monitoring, processing and forwarding the information in target region. Along with the network scale becomes larger and larger, the amount of data transmission is more and more. The energies of nodes is provided by battery, which restricted energy and network lifetime by the volume, power and cost of the nodes.Data collection in wireless sensor network is the basic functions. It is an important goal of network application to collect data with efficiency and finish the data processing work Based on the network structure and the characteristics of data collection, it is a big challenge in the field of this study to design a good method which can improve the energy efficiency to solve the problem of high energy consumption of nodes and high time delay of network.This article first introduced the characteristics of the network structure and the composition of wireless sensor network node and analyzed the basic principle and the existing research results of compressed sensing technology, then proposed a method based on compressed sensing for energy-saving data collection of wireless sensor network. This method can reduce the dimension of the original signal to reduce the amount of data transmitted over the network which can save the energy.Then this article selected the chain network topology to build the network energy consumption analyticity model based on traditional network energy consumption model of wireless sensor network. This article analyzed the energy consumption based on that model to verify the superiority of compressed sensing in energy-saving comparing with traditional method.Finally this article designed the experimental simulation to realize the application of compressed sensing method in wireless sensor network and compared the energy consumption to verify the superiority of compressed sensing in energy-saving and time delay reducing.
