Research And Development Of The Prospecting Engineering Data Documentation System Based On Android

Field data collection is the foundation of prospecting engineering documentation, the quality of the work directly affects the accuracy of geological report. Supposing that the original geological data documentation foundation is not solid, wrong conclusion may be made, namely, it directly influences the final result of geological prospecting work. At present, the mobile GIS system for prospecting engineering is exceeding insufficient, what’s more, most of them are developed on the obsolete palm mobile operating system like Windows Mobile. Hence, it is significant to make prospecting engineering documentation system on the most popular Android platform.This paper firstly studied the prospecting engineering data documentation model, the documentation standard of the geological measured section, generation principle and general process. Given the actual demand in the process of field data collection and following cartographic work, we designed the informatization solution for prospecting engineer and measured profile data documentation and proposed a new method suitable for fast generating section line. In addition, based on the positioning and communication principle of GPS and Beidou satellite, we proposed the collaborative work of GPS positioning and Beidou satellite positioning communication function. The above designed scheme was implemented and the prospecting engineering data documentation system was accomplished on Android operation system. What’s more, it was introduced into Chinese prospecting engineering data documentation practice, and achieved great results, obtained widespread promotion.
