Petroleum reserves is mainly existd in the pores of the rock, which is thousands oreven ten thousands meters away from the ground. Petroleum drillingengineering is the under ground hidden Project,and had high risk and high investment.With the oil exploration and development continues to expand, geological conditionsof the formation become extremely complex.Practice has proved that using the samedrilling measures in different geological environments finally produce effect may beprofoundly different.In practice it has proved that the last effect could beprofoundly different.if we use the same drilling technology in different geologicalenvironments. Geological environment data should be fully understood in order tofullfill expecting goal safely and efficiently because the formation is the object of theconstruction of drilling engineering.With the development of information technology data, the system of drillingengineering geological environment description is established for the formation beingdrilled.It is a graphical display system about engineering data and geological datarelating drilling engineering, can be a clear understanding, convenient to call.Its data isbased on drilling engineering geological Knowledge database.It is the importantreference to drilling design and construction monitoring. In order to adapt to therequirements of the oil industry development and improve drilling efficiency andeconomic benefits further, the establishment of a comprehensive, reasonable andspecific drilling engineering geological knowledge database becomes to the foundationof optimizing the drilling design and construction. How to protect the security of thedatabase data access, and improve the efficiency of client access, but also enhance thescalability of the system call? The above issue can be addressed efficiently by thedesign and development of data services layer of the drilling engineering geologicalknowledge base.First of all, design and development of ground scheduling subsystem based on the ground scheduling subsystem server database.This subsystem can be used to the filesupdated, online version check, message transmission and reception, report printing andso on between the server and the client.Secondly, design and development of underground geological knowledge databasesubsystem. WebService technology is used to build a server-side data access interface,which can provide the interactive data to the client.Web forms can perform data edit,query and update function of database by human-computer interaction.After the integration testing of the overall project, the design and development ofthe service layer greatly improved the efficiency of client access, optimized systemstructure, and facilitate further expansion to bring for the project.
