TV social education programmes is the main carriers of social education function thattelevision takes and the primary means of communicating cultural knowledge. Educationalprogrammes with news, entertainment programmes constitute the three pillars of televisionprogrammes. Social educational programs have undergone a long and tortuous process ofdevelopment. In the program forms, Social educational programs transferred from thefeature films to the forms of talks, entertainment and competition. In the program content,the dissemination goals get towards the specific selection of subjects and the disseminationtopics get towards the specific target groups. The current television culture is flourishing, massentertainment culture is mounting, and television seems entered a"pan-entertainment-oriented" era. Educational programs' development has encountered newchallenges. To survive in the fierce media competition, it must change its' traditionaldissemination means, and taking initiative to adapt the audience' viewing psychology.Positioning should be close to the audience in the program and complete theirs upbringingwith pleasure, and not looking down upon them. Educational programmes also meet a newopportunity for development while meeting the challenges, program formats and contentwidely absorb features of entertainment and news, forms more flexible, ever more brilliant.Such as the half sky, the moral and legal, the traditional educational programs developedsteadily.
