Petroleum and chemical industry is a typical process industry, in the pipeline inpetrochemical enterprises in the production process, equipment is the carrier of allkinds of logistics enterprises, the body of the hardware, and the material basis forprocessing of raw materials, semi-finished products, mobile storage logistics,product marketing and a series of activities in the enterprise. The equipments’ safely,reliably and efficiently operation and their stability can guarantee petrochemicalenterprises’ optimization of production and long-term development, it can directlyaffect the enterprises’ safety in production and economic benefit.In the implementation of resource planning system (ERP), H company usesERP equipment maintenance module, realizing the integration of information andfinance in the equipment overhaul about cost, but it does not include all theequipment management functions, and can not meet the requirement of wholeprocess of equipment management in modern petrochemical enterprises. Thereforein the basis of implementation of enterprise resource planning management, inaccordance with the needs of equipment management, H company completesequipment management system’s function promotion.Firstly, this thesis analyses the framework of equipment management and theexisting problems; secondly, it designs business process of equipment managementsystem on the basis of the implementation of ERP, establishes the data managementand analysis platform, realizing the accumulation of equipment fault system andprediction with the repair strategies of knowledge; finally, this thesis summarizes themethods of implementing equipment management information system, evaluates thesystem results and give out some suggestions of further research.
