In order to achieve two goals of energy saving and emissions reduction,our research group puts forward the effective way to implement high efficiency and clean combustion in the entire load.This way is the compound combustion strategy usinglow temperature combustion under low load and high density low temperature combustion under high load.The core idea of compound combustion strategy is to combine timing scale and chemical scale control,and realize path control of mixture on temperature and consistency.The compound combustion couldn’t been realized without the electronic control technology.In order to realize compound combustion strategy stably and reliably,this paper has developed SKLE high efficiency and clean combustion control system.The combustion control system consists of hardware and software,real-time,stability and reliability of the software system will directly decide to implement compound combustion strategy.This paper first has developed electric control EGR valve and back pressurevalve driver circuit based on the preliminary work of our research group.In orderto improve real-time,reliability,stability,portability and scalability of software system,this paper has conducted a software architecture design using hierarchical andmodularization ideas of automotive open system architecture(AUTOSAR).Aimingat the application layer,this paper has conducted the division of software components.According to the result of division,this paper has designed and developed each software component.In order to realize compound combustion strategies reliably,this paper has also developed the closed-loop combustion control system based oncylinder pressure.Aimed at the service request of the application layer,this paper has developed the basic software layer and the runtime environment.In order to improve real-time,reliability and stability of the electric control system operation,this paper has developed efficient and concise task scheduler.According to the software components of application layer,this paper has conducted the division of the tasks,and has determined the priority of each task.In order to verify the new SKLE high efficiency and clean combustion control system,this paper has conducted closed-loop combustion control and high density low temperature combustion test.Through the closed-loop combustion control,w e can solve uneven combustion and misfire under the new combustion mode.Through the high density low temperature combustion test under1100rpm and50%load,with using intake valve closing(LIVC) and low pressure EGR(LP EGR) system, adjusting the opening of variable geometry turbocharger(VGT),the compromiseadvantage of thermal efficiency and emissions can be obtained.
