This paper focus on the subject of data processing methods and techniques of constant volume combustion bomb.Large amounts of image data were produced by high-speed schlieren device in Constant volume combustion bomb experiments.If you rely on artificial method to process huge mass of data,that is very cumbersome and time-consuming, This paper has proposed the method of computer to extract flame radius of constant volume combustion.This paper has studied the technology of image processing on constant volume bomb experiments and algorithm of edge detection of extraction on the flame radius. Theory of spherical flames were introduced Briefly. At the same time this paper also compared the detection results which is detected by five edge detection operator such as Robert, Sobel, Prewitt, Laplacian, Canny on flame images from high-speed schlieren. In addition, this paper has proposed the method of using C-means clustering-Arc-ray set Combination algorithm to extract flame radius of constant volume combustion,while we have a comparative study on the processing results of C-means clustering-Arc-ray set Combination algorithm, Arc-ray set algorithm C-means clustering algorithm and Hough transform algorithm.The paper has also studied Experimental data processing methods of constant volume combustion and the Implementation, Prepared Computer program Flame detect (FMC) of experimental data processing of constant volume combustion. Did a Detailed description of the method of Determining the scale in FMC, mathematical model and calculation methods of combustion parameters in the area of results displa, function and implementation of the area of Image processing operations, Processing image display area and Parameter setting area. Also this paper did a Comparative Study on the image of constant volume combustion detected by FMC and Photoshop software, the result shows that the same rate of the data Results from FMC and Photoshop software is 70%, the probability of the data which has the relative error less than one pixel is 25%, the probability of the data which has the relative error with two pixels is 5%. In addition we also achieved the compatible processing on image of 512×512 pixels,768×768 pixel,and different image features. Finally, we got Applications using Experimental data processing of constant volume combustion, did Analysis on data of mixture gas of the hydrogen ratio of 80%pure ethanol/hydrogen laminar burning in constant volume combustion, analyzing the causes of error from FMC.This paper is also discussed the algorithm of ratio of burned gas and unburned gas. The mathematical model of premixed combustion established by Fluent software is introduced. The cavity of constant volume combustion was meshed by Gambit software. We did a comparative study on three different meshing mechanisms such as Quad-Map Quad-Pave Tri-Pave. The hydrogen premixed combustion model in constant volume combustion was established. We simulate the process of hydrogen combustion using method of transient dynamic grid in Fluent,and analysis the simulated results as well as error.
