With the improvement of energy saving and product quality, it is need to monitor the combustion process of industrial furnace in cement, smelting, electric power, building materials and other industries. The contents for the monitoring include O2, SO2 and AS2O3 concentrations in this system.Specific research works of this paper are as follows:1. Each module of the system is determined basing on hardware environment and related techniques used.2. For the purpose of the data transmission, this paper implements the PC-side design based on UDP protocol and Modbus/TCP protocol. The communication protocol can be selected according to the actual demand in real application.3. For the purpose of the data storage, the concentration values of O2, SO2 and As2O3 are stored in the SQL Server 2008 database. Massive data storage and query can be implemented in the SQL Server 2008 database, and history gas concentration curve can be constructed according to historical data.4. This paper designs and realizes a monitoring human-machine interface of industrial furnace combustion process system. This system can display the concentration of the gas curve. It also can display the two-dimensional temperature field figure in the form of temperature pseudo color, and the video stream in the designated area as well.Industrial furnace combustion process monitoring system designed by this paper, which is able to transmission, displaying, storage and query data. Engineering and technical personnel can view the situation in the furnace, master field data and research historical data using this system, so the management level and production efficiency are improved.
