With the rapid development of the financial industry’s information systems,thelevel of competition between banks has been never seen before, especially for small tomedium size commercial banks, How to deal with the challenges? The answer to theneed of getting ahead of the competitions is to reduce costs in the shortest time andfast placement of banking centers. Secured wireless access banking solution isdesigned to satisfy a bank’s growing need for better information structure,improve itsbusiness sectors’ abilities to face competition,quickly expand its banking network,lower costs and serve verity of business fictions. The solution includes three majorparts, bank central system end, service provider end and self-service center end. Thesolution is based on VPDN+IPSEC encryption mode as design principle, employChina Telecom’s CDMA20003G Wireless network to connect self-service ends andChina Telecom’s2M SDH line to connect the bank’s central system.This paper first states the practical meaning and purpose of the research,analyzes the necessity for bank to deploy this3G wireless connection solution andanalyzes the need of this solution from both business point of view and technologypoint of view. Then the paper combines how the service provider materialize thecommunication network and how to improve equipment selection and programdebugging, and designs the solution’s overall structure, network structure and systemstructure. At the end, the paper provides a three points and two lines solution andexplains every aspect of the solution including detailed equipment setting andnetwork structure. In order for the wireless solution can be popularized within a bank,fully functioned and give great room for business developments, the paper alsoprovides solutions for problems arise during the final comprehensive test andcorresponding control terms.
