The Application Of VPN Technology In The Financial Private Network

Network security increases with the development of the Internet, which is embodied by the high demand for the confidentiality of data transmission between governmental agencies and enterprises. Such demand can be fully satisfied by Virtual Private Network(VPN) technology. VPN refers to a safe and stable channel that goes through the public network. It can realize a safe transmission of private data via public network by packet and encryption transmission of the transmitted data and establishment of a temporary, safe and stably connected logical channel. In this paper, the author first made an adequate analysis of the demand for financial information private network and then VPN technology was employed to carry out network design and safety design on financial information private network.By making use of IPSec VPN and VPDN networking knowledge and combing with the author's working experience in network construction, network design, etc., the author made an investigation of Tianjin financial information private network in terms of application scenarios and network safety and then some solutions on network safety and route planning were proposed. In the present research, the author mainly explored how to carry out network redundancy planning when network safety can be guaranteed and then related test implementations were carried out on network plan and safety plan.Based on the summary of the related materials and the test implementation of equipments, the author proposed a network design plan which combined route planning, safety control and reliability design. The innovation point of the present paper is that the author proposed safety requirements of three-level protection based on network safety and the design of redundancy planning. After the test implementation of the plan, it was found that the networking displayed good performance in many aspects such as route planning, safety design, reliability, etc., just as expected.
