The Design And Implementation Of New Drug Selection System For Hospital

For large public medical institution, new drug selectionand management isimportant and complex, which not only covers all hospital clinical departments, butalso requires expertise. Traditionally, new drug selection and management mainlydepended on handwork. However, it brings about various problems in practical work,such as inefficiency, less utilization of data. To solve these problems, many publicmedical institutions build informative platform through modem network technology.The new drug selection system is developed at the request of the medical institutionunder this background.The new drug selection system which used Visual Studio2010as a developing tooland SQL Server2008as a database system as well as C#language, is based onbrowser/server（B/S）model.At the inception, we normalized and optimized the process of new drug selectionand management based on detailed analysis of all the requirements. We determinedthe development frame of the systemby UML, and then completed the design ofsystem frame and system functions. According to the system design objectivesproposed, we described the designing and realization of the system in detail. Lastly,we tested the system in functional and performance aspects comprehensively.The new drug selection system is divided into five parts:basicinformation,application management, evaluation management, marking management,voting management, which involves the whole process of new drug selectionandmanagement.For public medical institutions, this system not only provideinformation-based new drug selection process, but also a complete solution toproblems such as two specifications for one variety when selecting the new drugs,connection with HIS or government procurement system, and quantization ofassessment indexes.
