Design And Implementation Of Urban Management Information System Based On GIS

According to the urban management status, like problems discovering unquickly,departments solving unefficiently, results evaluating unbojectively, and managementuncarefully, the paper combines the strategy of national model town planning andpromotion of national smart city in new phase, analyzes deeply urban managementobjects, management ways and management process, and develops the applicationresearch on key technologies of urban management. The research fully integratesurban management and service resources, constructs urban management informationsystem based on GIS, and helps the related persons discover quickly beforehand,solve efficiently and evaluate objectively, so as to improve urban management’sability and service level, and beautify urban environment.The paper carries on the research from three aspects. Firstly, taking the researchon GIS space technology of urban management objects, to achievie address relatedsearching, location positioning, and information exhibiting. Secondly, taking theresearch on embedded GIS and wireless transmission technology, to achieve severalmobile applications, like information uploading, map browsing, and multimediatransmitting. Thirdly, taking the design and implementation of urban managementinformation system based on GIS, which makes good use of the developingplatform,like Eclipse6.0,Oracle10g,ArcGIS10,and Tomcat7.0, to develop sixsubsystems,like mobile information collection subsystem, problem orderingsubsystem,business cooperation subsystem,performance evaluation subsystem,datamanagement subsystem,and application maintainence subsystem, and achievegridding urban management under the whole process, including problems collecting,confirming, delivering, feedback, checking and evaluating.The research refers to the existing research results from home and abroad,analyzes urban management status, and constructs urban management system basedon GIS, which will effectively achieve urban management objects gridding,management process loop-closed, management results sustaining, so as to providemeaning suggestions for some cities to innovate urban management methods andsolve the difficulty of urban management.
