Along with the gradual acceleration of urbanization, the Scale of eities enlarging all the time, and urban construction is improved largely. However, urban management cannot keep in line with urban construction, which has become a growing concern in urban development process.The main reason that the comprehensive coordination in urban management process not strong; The dependency on traditional management methods too much.As mentioned above, traditional way in urban management cannot meet the needs in modem society.Constructing digitization urban management model is an effective method to transform government functions, resolve management problems, improve the level of urban management, and enhance urban management capabilities.With the development of internet especially wireless communications technology continues to evolve, pda portable devices represented by smart phone have become increasingly important network terminal equipment.. In recent years, mobile life, mobile office gradually from concept into reality. And the application of management systems run on the PDA devices became more and more.The digitization urban management based on PDA devices became a key in solving some problems.Firstly,we analyzed the background of the digital city management in this paper.Then,we designed and implemented the digital city management system based on the PDA. The main research results in this paper are:We conducted the needs analysis for the system and described the basic functions of the system. In this paper,we gave the main code for each module of the system and the results of running the system in Figure.Through the study of this system we proved that digital technology in urban management is efficient and feasible. The system meets the requirements of national digital city management building from the functionality and performance and it has some innovative.
