With the development of network technology and the quickening pace ofpeople’s daily life, people’s patterns of consumption include shopping and catering isdeveloping from traditional way to network.In order to improve the level andefficiency of the catering industry, and realize the more effective delivery service thanthe traditional telephone and SMS ordering, the online ordering system is brought toearth. Through online, people can order conveniently and online ordering greatlyexpands the present ordering patterns, therefore, no matter who and where, as long asyou can approach to the internet, you can choose and order your favorite dishesconveniently. It can be said a huge revolution to the food and beverage industry.This article mainly introduces the design process of KuaiJiKe Fast Food cateringmanagement system, which based on the B/S mode. This system employs J2EE zeroconfiguration technology and MySQL database management system, besides this, italso uses Browser, Web server (Tomcat), database server tier structure as well as theMVC pattern design for written procedures, to achieve the design of the system.This website is able to provide service of browsing, ordering and delivering forcustomers. The system is mainly divided into the front interface and backend interface,the two parts. The front interface mainly includes the Home of this website, memberregister, browsing of the varieties of food, the recommending of new menu, andshopping cart. While the backend interfaces mainly includes manager register, foodmanagement, order management, user management and other modes of management.This system is suitable for using in small and medium size catering company, itcan optimize the process of catering industry, maximize the enterprise value andmeantime, minimum the cost of operation, and at last, to improve one’s owncompetitive advantage in the restaurant industry.
