With the rapid development of technology skills and internet, software is used inenterprises,organizations and personal management and lives widely. A systematic softwarecan help us manage our work and lives better, and the computer storage and transmission ofinformation let us experience the convenience and high-speed. Catering industry, as the leaderof the service sector, plays a crucial role in the development of national economy. Introducingthe advanced technology into the catering industry can promote the development of themaximization of the industry,improve work efficiency and save the cost.When a guest orders food in a restaurant, they may find that the waiters are in a flurryand take the wrong order or even misses the order, when they are waiting for our meals , theyoften have nothing to do and we never know whether our foods are being preparing,and it isespecially inconvenient when the guests are on a diet or avoid certain food and can'tcommunicate directly with the chef.Here, we mainly focus on how to deal with the problem of the incomplete orderingsystem in catering industry. We've made an intensive study of the problem and have designeda individualized desktop ordering system. To meet the individual needs of different groups ofpeople.The contents of our research are as follows:First, this paper describes the system development background, as well as the status of asimilar system at home and abroad. Through access to a large number of dietary information,we conducted a questionnaire in Nanhui District of Shanghai and made a systematicinvestigation to analyze the problem existed in ordering system in catering industry. We findthat some companies still use the traditional waiter record mode, which is inefficient and easyto make mistakes. In that case, the individualized desktop ordering system shows itsadvantages and it has a great market. So we decided our individualized desktop ordering system making program.Second,by further understanding of Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks and any other UIinterface design software to read a lot of information on human-machine interface, extract therequired information that system development, design and product the personalized orderinterface system.Third,by analyzing and evaluating the software used in database design in market today,and referring to information about MySQL technology at home and abroad,we wouldcomplete the design of the system database and SP frame.Fourth, in the Flex development environment, using ActionScript language for systemdevelopment. By class diagram, sequence diagram, state diagram or flowchart form, acomprehensive exposition of the system functions, and implementation process. And detailedaccount of the principles of its implementation and related technical support.Fifth,through combining the direct observational method and experimental evaluationmethod to evaluate the system,proving ideas that papers mentioned and also the results of thedesign.We found there were a lot of imperfections in the system at the same time and it showsthe later improved direction for the system.
