Kind Of Broadband Zero IF Receiver Front-end Design And Performance Testing

In this paper, we will take advantage of the software radio technology to design areconfigurable broadband zero IF receiver front-end, by way of changing the configurationregister to change receiver front-end mode, determine working frequency, sampling rate,bandwidth, channel gain and other parameters according to the specific needs, and finallydo performance testing.Firstly, introduce the basic structure and operating principle of the receiver, focusingon the composition, performance, advantage and disadvantage of the superheterodynereceiver and zero-IF receiver architecture.Next, design the zero-IF receiver front-end in detail. Firstly, introduce broadbandzero IF receiver front-end overall structure, and then design the program and complete theSPI interface to read and write to a single register, and then sub-module configure thereceive front-end and design the entire configuration process according to the specificneeds, finally do IQ parsing and power spectral analysis for the received signal to verifythe design meet the requirements.Finally, do performance testing for the zero-IF receiver front-end. Performanceindicators need to be tested into two categories: conventional indicators and nonlinearindex, where the nonlinear indicators include input third-order intercept point IIP3,spurious-free dynamic range SFDR, error vector magnitude EVM and complementarycumulative distribution function CCDF. Firstly, introduce the meaning of eachperformance indicator and then give a specific test method, finally analysis the testresults. After the test is completed all the indicators test results will be compared with thenominal value to come a conclusion.
