This thesis mainly shows the secondary development of electromagnetic simulationsoftware which includes CST and FEKO, we use the C++Builder to exchange data andcall function from these two widely used software. Finally, the size of model, solutionrange of radiation character and automatically run of CST and FEKO are implementedsuccessfully by parameter controlling on the interface of software module. Thedevelopment of antenna radiation character’s simulation module provides easy andeffective communication tool for antenna designer, which uses parametric technology toassist designer to design. It could decrease the time of the whole process of antenna designand improve the efficiency.Firstly, in order to implement the automatic running of CST software controlled byexternal application program, it has an important significance to study on the externalinterface control method of CST software. The CST and VBA macro language arecompatible, so it is feasible to use VBA to control the run of CST. If we want toimplement the automatic run of CST on the C++platform, the OLE automatictechnology should be used. We can call the project, object and method of CST softwareenvironment through the method provided by “Variant” class in C++Builder, finally theinterface control between C++Builder and CST is implemented.Secondly, the external interface and control method of FEKO is introduced toimplement the creation of model and the generation of mesh. The EDITFEKO module ofFEKO supports the script commands for modelling and simulation. The model creation oftypical antennas, automatically run of antenna radiation character analysis and resultdisplay could be implemented after the development of batch file. Because the postprocessing module of FEKO is more complex, so the author developed the new one.Finally, the author combines the C++language and CST, FEKO to move on to hybridsimulation, shows the parameters designer wants to set and radiation character resultsdesigner wants to get on the interface. It improves the efficiency of engineering design andprovides a good platform for some antennas’ radiation character analysis.
