With the widespread applications of the wireless communication systems, various kinds of information transmission technologies are developing rapidly. As one of the most important components in the systems, the performance of the antennas is directly related to the communication quality of the whole system. At the same time, the wireless communication system puts forward the corresponding to the antenna miniaturization, high gain and good directivity. Based on the characteristics of miniaturization, the slotting technology of microstrip antenna are put forward. In learning, on the basis of the literature at home and abroad, for various shapes of microstrip slot antenna in-depth study, summarizes the design principle and analysis method.Then according to the requirements of miniaturization, high gain and good directional design respectively the working frequency of 2.45 GHz can realize two-way radiation double V slot microstrip antennas and double semicircle slot microstrip antenna. To complete the main work includes the following three parts:In the first part,Firstly analysis of the basic theory of microstrip antenna is studied, including the basic parameters of the antenna and the classification of microstrip antenna, which leads to design of microstrip slot antenna. Then we make a simple introduction for the structure and principle of microstrip slot antenna. And through the equivalent circuit model of more slot antenna and the single slot microstrip antenna to study, which is prepared for the design of double V slot microstrip antenna, At the same time, through the annular aperture antenna formula deduction, the theoretical basis of concentric ring gap has better direction, for the later two semicircle slot microstrip antenna.In the second part,with the introduction of the method to realize the miniaturization and high gain, a double V slot microstrip antenna is put forward.Mainly with the calculation of the antenna size, the principle of XFDTD software and software parameters Settings, and so on in detail, completed a double V slot microstrip antenna simulation design. With continuous optimization, the antenna to the gain of 4.37 d B, prior to gain of 5.5 d B.In the third part, Based on the research of double V slot microstrip antenna, in order to achieve higher gain and better direction, combining with the characteristics of annular gap directional well, a double semicircle slot microstrip antenna is put forward. With the electric field formula deduction of a double semicircle slot microstrip antenna, indicates that the factors affecting directional, and With the optimization to gradually in XFDTD, the antenna to the gain of 5.44 d B, prior to gain of 5.45 d B.and the radiation is uniform from the top to the bottom with good direction,which meet the requirements of the design.
