The Design And Implementation Of Server Center For Online Interactive Education System

With the development of the global Internet industry in full swing, people’sdependence on the network has increasingly become a habit. In order to following thishabit, a lot of online education system appeared. In recent years, Massive Open OnlineCourses (MOOC) is increasingly becoming more and more popular, people who log inMOOC through network, can find many video tutorials and study any time and place. Butthe mode of MOOC still can’t meet the students’ personalized needs. Teachers andstudents can’t discuss to each other in real time.In order to solve this problem, this thesis designs the server center of the distributedinteractive education system, which not only make the education system to manageonline courses like MOOC, but also ask teachers and students to discuss in classroom inreal time. Server center, which with great significance to convent the implementation andpromotion of distributed interactive education system, has the function including themanagement of user and classroom information, and the accomplishment of onlineclassroom data distribution.In this thesis, at first, author uses service center management platform which is setup by Yii framework based on PHP, to realize the management of user and classinformation. And then, the author use MySQL database to manage the users and coursesinformation. Finally, server center realizes the management of online class information,by the method of combining the socket class and forwarding strategy, to transparentforward interactive data in online classroom.
