In today's Internet era, Ethernet and TCP/IP have almost monopolized the world. Ethernet and TCP/IP system that used two kinds of addresses and a variety of control protocols are complex and bloated. Ethernet uses exact match for forwarding, however, IP network is the longest matching recursive lookup table and forwarding. Combining these two completely different forwarding methods to do device aggravated complexity of the device. The cost will be improved as well. Along with the data center of the degree of integration is becoming higher and higher, the equipment and the framework of existing data center are increasingly complex. If we still use traditional equipment maintenance, a large number of maintenance work, including the modified routing, sec urity policies, etc., will bring about when we make some changes.My job is to analyse the data of a broadband backbone center in a certain city, and try to do some research on SDN software defined network protocol. I am develo ping a kind of software which can control forwarding and filtering of the underlying network equipment so as to improve the management of the entire data center, reduce the workload in the operation and maintenance process.The thesis is to research the function of SDN software control hardware, in order to simplify broadband central trunk data centre. Flow table concept of important Open flow in SDN is to put L3 and L2 into a table so that we can correspond with busine ss directly. Users no longer need to perform complex flow classification on each netw ork device. The central control system can be used directly for different business plan ning different traffic paths and priorities.
