As the quality of the fine iron powder is an important index, the measurment of the fine iron powder grade (iron content) is very important. Chemical analysis method is widely accepted at home and abroad, which is accurate, reliable and repeatability. But it is cockamamie, and it needs a variety of reagent. Besides the demand of the technical level of the experimental personnel is higher. With the development of industrial modernization and automation, the measurement of the fine iron powder grade should be rapid and instantaneity. Only in this way the need of the enterprise of iron ore can be satisfied. On the base of inductance sensor, this paper studies the measurement of the fine iron powder grade by rapid testing.And it studies parameters optimization scheme design of the magnetite iron powder grade sensor by the experimental investigated.According to ferromagnetic of fine iron powder and the electromagnetic field theory, this paper studied the basic method of measuring fine iron powder grade on the base of self-induction inductors sensor and confirmed the test plan of measuring fine iron powder grade. The fundamental principle and the structure of the sensor were studied. Then the inductance fine iron powder grade sensor was designed. The effect of structural parameters on the performance of the sensor analysed using the result of simulation analysis. The structural parameters had been analysed using the method of orthogonal test design. The optimum structural parameters were comfirmed. The iron powder grade sensor measuring circuit was designed, which achived the collection and procession of the inductance fine iron powder grade sensor. The experimental results showed that the inductive sensor measuring iron powder grade had very good accuracy of measurement. Because that the firm rate has a great influence on the fine iron powde grade when measuring fine iron powder grade in the experimental process, this paper analysed the affect of firm rate on fine iron powder grade and designed experimental determination. The results showed that the relation between the firm rate and fine iron powder grade was a linear relationship.Subject research for self-induction inductors sensor measuring iron powder grade is significant.
