The Spaceborne Microwave Radiometer is the main payload of the meteorological satellite and marine satellite, which provides one of the most important remote sensing methods to monitor the weather and disaster, detect the ocean, hydrology and geophysical process in our country. The Scanning Servo System is an important component part of the microwave radiometer, which can drive the antenna to scan the earth field correctly and reliably according to a strict time and space sequence.This article is based on the developing project in the payload of satellite, in which the system composition, implementation principle and method of spaceborne scanning servo system are thoroughly discussed. And it also provides the general design scheme of a spaceborne scanning servo system, design and accomplishes the Control Circuit, Two-phase Hybrid Stepping Motor, Angle Measuring Channle and Servo System Software of the system. All of these design and implementation has satisfied and improved the requirements of the payload of satellite. The correctness and effectiveness of the system has proved by some experiments.
