In this paper, Domestic and international microwave radiometer imaging system and relevant research development overview of the theory and technology of radiation measuring are introduced. Studies and development trend of microwave radiometer imaging has been explained in recent years. The principle of the microwave radiation characteristic to surface feature goal has been introduced concisely, through analyzing the relation of sampling frequency and space resolving power, integral time and temperature resolving power of microwave radiometer imaging system and the data achievement of the measuring work in the past, working way of system was established and the method of choosing system optimization of the parameter when being practical was proposed. On the basis of the aforesaid, 3mm microwave radiometer imaging system is developed.This system adopts structures of master-slave computer, the master computer is made up of IBM-PC ,the slave computer is made up of MSP430 MCU. Master-slave computer carries on the communication through the serial port of RS-232. In this paper, systematic ensemble architecture, the designs of MCU and peripheral interface circuit , the writing of system software of MCU and PC have been introduced in detail. the software of MCU adopts the MSP430 special-purpose C430 programming language and realizes scanning control and data gathering of the radiometer aerial, the software of PC is designed under Microsoft Visual C + + environment of compiling, has the man-machine interface with friendship and convenient flexible function menu and realizes the real-time imaging, image storing, radiometer calibration and image processing on later stage.Through the deep discussion of the display method of microwave remote sensing picture and the technology of screen upgrading in real time, unequal size element arc imaging and equal size element parallel imaging have been realized and their qualities have been compared; through the study of timing technology of MCU and the experiment of walking electrical machinery control, the curves of speed-up and speed-down that make electrical machinery running steadily have been acquired. A large number of images that are got are analyzed and prove that imaging system is reliability and practical value.
