With the rapid development of new technology and business communication, the increasing network bandwidth, the improvement of transmission rate and the more connective network, the requirements to the network clock and the time performance become higher. With the rapid development of science, technology and economy, there are strict requirements for time synchronization in the fields of mobile communication, electric power system, sensor and finance. With the rapid popularization of digital switching system and transmission equipment and the intervention of SDH, the importance of synchronization has significantly increased in telecommunication network. New business and applications also have higher requirements to the operation and performance of clock and time synchronized network. Reasonable planning methods and organization principles are not only to improve the synchronization performance, but also to reduce potential problems which are difficult to find, so as to reduce the cost of operation and maintenance. The current clocks and time management still exist many problems, such as the process from manual control to intelligent control, the selection of synchronization time source, clock and time synchronization network design, operation, maintenance, all of these need further improvement and research.During the paper writing, in order to meet the needs of project, I did some in-depth research and analysis on clock and time synchronization network, mainly studied the intelligent planning and control of the clock and time synchronization network. In order to meet the demands of mobile communication systems, the research based on the network physical topology, combining with the minimum spanning tree algorithm, an intelligent clock algorithm was designed. This algorithm can unify centralized processing unit of the main and standby synchronous link planning, avoid the complexity and errors made by artificial planning. In order to improve the performance and reliability of the network synchronization, I also studied the synchronous control property and analyzed the performance of the network synchronization failure. Paper reviewed the existing technical scheme of IP network clock and the time synchronization mechanism, the development of the clock and the time synchronization network and the present situation, analyzed the main problems in the current synchronization network, proposed improvement direction to solve current network problems, and discussed the significance of the research. This algorithm design was applied to intelligent planning clock tracking path system, simulation of the network and the intelligent planning and control to synchronization network was showed in Demo presentation. Finally the paper discussed the function and gave some specific analysis and some meaningful conclusions.
