Research On Dissenination And Diffusion Mechanism Of Internet Public Opinion On Emergency

The public’s dependence on the Internet is growing rapidly in pace with the development of the society and the widespread of the Internet. Accessing information through the Internet has become an integral part of most people’s daily life. However, some issues which closely related to the vital interests of the people will trigger fierce reaction after they are widely reported by Internet media. With the dissemination and diffusion of the Internet public opinion and without the proper control and guidance from the government, the Internet public opinion will get intense evolution, which will lead to social upheaval and the stability and unity of the country will be affected.Therefore, it became more and more urgent and important to propose a solution of how to make a proper move、how to response to the factors that may intensify the contradictions、how to guide the public opinion to a positive direction effectively for the government.The research is analyzed for the dissemination and diffusion of the Internet public opinion caused by emergencies based on System Dynamics and Cellular Automata. The System Dynamics part focus on the influences of the factors of the Internet public opinion system from a macro perspective and perform empirical analysis use "The death of a maternal in Xiangtan,Hunan" incident as an example, and the Cellular Automata part focus on each individual public opinion to simulate a certain public opinion event within a certain range and perform empirical analysis. The System Dynamics part focused on the diffusion of the Internet public opinion in the entire Internet environment, while the Cellular Automata part focused on simulate a certain public opinion event in a certain Internet environment such as a university BBS or a forum of a enterprise. They have different emphases and combined to figure out the diffusion mechanism of the Internet public opinion, and give effective proposals based on the simulation results. The research got a practical significance for the government on processing and guiding the Internet public opinion.
