With the fork lift truck-the radio shuttle high-density system as background, the study designed and developed a warehouse management system based on radio shuttle, using the B/S and J2EE architecture, which can be applied to optimize the sequence of goods in and out of storage during single-ended loading.First, after analyzed the features of hybrid storage and the scheduling defects, the study made a model that minimized the maximum completion time for single-ended loading process in shuttle area and shortest the path in general area, which is a classic TSP problem. Then, designed cases and solved independently with the help of operation software, to verify the correctness of the model.Secondly, gave the technical solutions for WMS’s optimal algorithm module, in order to solve problems immediately. That is to say, the Java code would call IBM Cplex to find the optimal solution, based on the optimization model built before. The module would receive a disordered library, those goods in or out data from upper WMS, as a single real-time data input. Ultimately it gave the optimal sequence as feedback for upper WMS, which can be a reference for staff in warehouse to reduce the fork lift truck waiting time during loading in shuttle area. Finally, in contrast with conventional warehouse management system, the study redesigned some modules, such as storage location management, storage location assignment policy, inventory allocation policy, and goods shift library in shuttle area (rack aisles margin self-test) etc., to adapt to the hybrid storage of enterprise.
