VoLTE commercial deployment is accelerating these days. LTE terminal modem chip protocol conformance is essential to ensure the healthy growth of industry chain. This thesis topic is derived from a R&D project "TD-LTE-A terminal protocol analyzer based on TTCN".Based on theoretical study, functional analysis, design, implementation and test, this thesis completed the goal of subject "design and implementation of VoLTE feature test solution base on TD-LTE-A terminal protocol analyzer". It is helpful for LTE chip manufacturers to do developingefficiently.This thesis begins with an overview of VoLTE deployment strategies and introductions of the functions and HW/SW architecture of TD-LTE-A terminal protocol analyzer.Secondly, the design requirements being proposed based on analysis of VoLTE System architecture andsignaling.Then, based on the principles of protocol conformance testing, VoLTE functionality test solution is designed and implemented. After that, SIP codec module and IP transmit module pass the unit testing, and the whole system is validated by test cases.Finally, this thesis ends with a summary and prospects of the development of terminal protocol analyzer.Achieving results of this study have been applied to the TD-LTE-A terminal protocol analyzer.
