The Implementation Of Mac/Rlc Testing On Ttcn-Based Terminal Protocol Analytic Testing Platform

Terminal testing is an extremely important part of the TD-SCDMA industry chain, and the key tool for terminal development. The terminal protocol testing, the main part of the terminal testing, is used to improve the interconnection and interoperability between different terminal manufacturers. This research is based on the project of "TD-SCDMA terminal protocol analytic testing platform" from a domestic instrumental company.This research consists of analyzing testing methods, supplementing the protocol stack and debugging the whole system andwe fulfilled the MAC/RLC testing on terminal protocol analytic testing platform.Firstly, the paper gives a brief introduction of the development of TD-SCDMA industry, the related technology as well as the hardware and software architecture of this terminal protocol analytic testing platform.Secondly, this paper analyzes the basic method and framework of the MAC/RLC testing from3GPP protocol, and summarizes all the necessary work to accomplish this task.Then, based on the method of MAC/RLC testing from3GPP protocol, this paper completes the functional modules and test cases for MAC/RLC testing, and analyzes the log information from the test cases to verify the correctness of the platform.Finally, the conclusions are provided, and this paper reveals the opportunities and challenges for domestic instrumental company in the future.The implementation has been applied in TD-SCDMA terminal protocol analytic testing platform and it brings in significant social effects.
