The current fibre channel(FC)technology has certain application requirements in high-performance storage,avionics,real-time networks,sensor data fusion and other fields.With the expansion of network scale and the increase of transmission rate,the FC network environment becomes more and more complicated.In order to ensure the high performance and reliability of the FC system,a protocol analyzer is required to capture and analyze the FC network data in real time.This thesis discusses a kind of FC protocol analyzer that supports 2G/4G/8G FC link rate adaptation,can complete FC data capture and protocol analysis,and has multiple functions such as eye diagram online monitoring.On the basis of studying the FC protocol cluster and its FC-AE-ASM sub-protocols,this thesis first proposed a flexible and reliable multi-function FC protocol analyzer overall program,which integrated FC protocol analysis module,FC protocol analysis interface module,single-board computer and other core components,and the host computer and the protocol analyzer was integrated to complete convenient protocol analysis tasks;this thesis has compared the two file storage modes to determine the storage mode used by the protocol analyzer and describes the specific implementation plans such as the internal structure of the FPGA function module,the data grasping module for data capture and protocol analysis,the link data acquisition mode and the online monitoring of the eye diagram;this thesis has completed the FC module circuit design of the FC protocol analyzer,including the overall interconnection architecture of the FC module,the constructed power management system according to the power demand,the clock reset and related configuration circuits,and the I~2C monitoring circuit to ensure the safe and correct operation of the protocol analyzer.Finally,this thesis builds a test and verification platform to test and verify the relevant functions of the FC protocol analyzer in the actual FC network environment.The test results show that the FC protocol analyzer in this thesis can achieve real-time capture of FC data frames in two data acquisition modes,the protocol analysis function is correct and the captured messages conform to the protocol standard;the obtained real-time eye diagram information accurately reflects the quality of the link signal;the I~2C monitoring circuit realizes the real-time reporting of parameter information such as the current voltage and temperature of the FC module,which meets the requirements of the design scheme.
