The Research And Implementation Of Teaching-resource Database In Campus Information Construction

With the rapid development of network, Internet environment has become one of the necessaries for people's work, learning and even life. For every University, the construction of campus network and informatization is now a standard of campus modernization and one of the development direction, which has been paid more and more attention at all levels, as well. However, in the practice process of campus informatization, especially of the small and medium-sized colleges of which the aspects of finance and technique are in inferior position, teaching resources, which has been accumulated by teachers for many years, can't be used effectively and efficiently; teaching resources libraries purchased at high price can't fully adapt to the practical teaching and learning conditions. To solve the above problems, a teaching-resource database constructed on account of characteristics of one's own campus is an effective way. The demand of my unit in informatization development prompts me to establish a suitable teaching-resource database.This paper mainly discussed the research and implementation of teaching-resource database in campus information construction. It combs the development of such database at home and abroad, introduces computer network technology and the theory of application development, also analyses the practical needs of teaching resources libraries and the practical problems needed to be solved in informatization development in higher vocational colleges. According to the analysis and previous experience in information technology, a teaching resource database system in accordance with their needs can be designed.In this system the current mainstream Web development language and C# Asp.net are adopted as the development platform, SQL Server 2005 database are also used. It realized many important functions, such as user management, system management, resource management, resource database management, online browsing, work online etc. The system reflects the network application of teaching resources. With online browsing and online operations, resource utilization has been dramatically improved, the function of the database of teaching resources in campus information construction has also stand out.The research and implementation of this project has basically meet the demand of teaching resources management in my unit, which makes the original website of qualified teaching course be integrated and effectively used, provides a new network communication platform for teaching and learning, makes a contribution for the campus informatization construction of my unit as well.
