Electricity has become an indispensable factor of technological development and social progress ever since the industrial revolution. Nowadays, there are a series ways to generate electricity, such as coal-fired power generation, hydroelectric power generation, wind power generation, solar power generation, nuclear power generation and so on. As a general and traditional way, coal-fired power generation is stable and immune to the circumstance interference. But it costs huge number of non-renewable resources and cause great pollution to the environment. Hydroelectric power generation is pollution-free. However it relays heavily on the environmental circumstance and do harm to the aquatic environment during the construction period.Wind power generation is also clean and inexhaustible. Nevertheless, it’s unstable and occupies too much room. The nuclear power generation is an emerging way.It’s not only clean and environmental friendly but also independent of price fluctuation of coal and petroleum. Nuclear power generation is a double-edged sword. The half-life period of nuclear waste can reach millions of years. It can do great harm to the ecological environment and human survival once it leak out in the nuclear accident.After a deep research and understand of foreign advanced technology, we developed the control system of cement solidified line of FuQing nuclear power plant, which is the first case in domestic relevant field. We completed the logical program develop and the HMI interface configuration of the whole system. In order to guarantee the safety and reliability to the most extent, the system applied the fault-tolerant and redundant structure. The monitoring system is two IPC armed with the WinCC7.0to achieve a better human-computer interaction.The paper describes the nuclear waste processing development situation at home and abroad. Meanwhile, it introduces the hardware constitution, program design, HMI interface development of the system. At last, it gives a summary and outlook combined with the problems occurred during the on-site debugging period. Now the TES cement solidified line has been put into use partly and it will contribute a lot to the nuclear power development of.
