This thesis investigates LTE transmission network planning, and adopts IP RANcarrying network to design LTE transport network for Zhuhai Telecom. LTE transportnetwork provides a good foundation for the future3G network upgrade, customerservice upgrade and optimization.This thesis firstly introduces the principle and key technologies of mobilecommunication, LTE and IP RAN. Then analyses the status of the bearing network ofZhuhai Telecom3G network and the existing problems, and puts forward thenecessity of IP RAN in the LTE era. The three year planning proposal for ZhuhaiTelecom LTE network is proposed, and on the basis of LTE network planning, thefeasible IP RAN carrying network construction scheme is designed. Finally, the workin this thesis is summarized, and suggestions for the future development of thenetwork is presented. |
