With the extensive use of microcomputer control technology and communicationtechnology, Humanity has entered the age of information. As the traditional product, boilerhas been widely used in many fields. The complete automatic and low pollution biomassboiler has combined with modern intelligent greenhouse which as a heat source body ofmodern agriculture greenhouse. Based on biomass boiler as a research object, this thesisputs forward a detailed research and design of biomass boiler remote monitoring systembased on the combination of GPRS network and GSM network.The remote information transmission platform is based on GPRS and GSM network.First of all, this thesis introduces the working principle of GPRS network and GSMnetwork and the network protocol and control procedures in detail. Because the networkregistration and link are done by the AT command, so it inquire into the relevantapproaches to the use of the AT command Secondly, it inquire into the hardware circuitdesign of data collection terminal to constitute the data terminal GPRS module andsingle-chip microcomputer with related peripheral circuit to carry on the design anddebugging. It enables data acquisition terminal by RS485interface Modbus protocol tocollect the boiler controller and carries on the analysis and processing of information.Finally it introduces the main design of software system, mainly including data acquisitionterminal communication software design and software design of the remote servermonitoring interface. And some of the problems existing in the design and the difficultpoints are analyzed and summarized.System finally achieves the function: data collection terminal in the boiler controlfield I adopts the Mudbugs communication protocol collecting the relevant information inthe boiler controller. It will be distributed in different parts of the boiler’s runningcondition or fault information transmitted by GSM or GPRS network to mobile phoneusers or server monitoring interface, at the same time, the user can remote control relevant boiler through mobile phone text messages or the PC interface of monitoring center, andthe model of GSM and GPRS can be mutual switched.
