Design And Implementation Of Teachers’ Homepage System Based On ASP.NET

With the increasing development of information construction at college, freshconstruction goal arises about providing various campus information services, promotinggroup collaboration between teachers and students and advancing sharing of informationresource. This paper focuses on a teachers’ homepage system of Soochow Univercity,which is a user-centered and service-oriented system, offering a platform to accelerateinteraction between teachers and students.Soochow teachers’ homepage system furnishes the teachers with diverse functionsincluding self-presentation of teachers, interaction among teachers and interaction betweenteachers and students. Besides, the system makes up for the limitations of the existingteachers’ display platform and makes the platform more lively, so that teachers have moreautonomy exhibition space. Moreover, it can also attract students to involve establishing agood campus with great learning atmosphere and demonstrating the elegance of universityteachers.The system is constructed on the basis of existing digital campus platform and Webstandards adopting ASP.NET technology and SQL Server database. It provides ways ofconstructing homepage automatically without mastering of professional webpage makingknowledge, all that users need to do is to follow steps provided by system then series ofconstruction procedures such as create, preview, release and maintain are finished in aguiding way. Furthermore, teachers can create personalized homepage through choosingamong various homepage templates.According to the software design of hierarchical thinking, homepage system in thispaper meets the criteria of high cohesion and low coupling, with a value of reuse. Designand development methods on the system described in this article also provide a certainreference value for the other systems application development.
