Steel industry is the important basic industry of national economy, has been hailed as the backbone of economic growth, China’s steel production has for many years ranked first in the world, but it doesn’t say in our country has become a steel superpower. First of all, the serious homogeneity competition, only making low-end steel, a large number of high-end steel still needs to be imported; Second, the energy consumption of per ton steel is far higher than that of developed countries, caused serious environmental pollution and energy waste.Programmable logic controller (PLC) is a kind of digital and analog computing operation of electronic systems, the design of the main purpose is to adapt to the industrial environment. Logic operation and sequential control, timing, counting and arithmetic operations such as instructions stored in the program memory, and through the I/O interface, which including digital or analog input (I) and output (O),for controlloing various types of machinery or production process., The PLC has been widely used in various industrial control fields with the development of the society.Through the introduction of unattended water treatment control system, introduceing the hardware structure, software congfiguration,programming.It introduced the PID control method,to understand the control system parameterssetting and adjusting process.In the process of project implementation, it will encounter a variety of problems, In the fifth chapter, I enumerates some problems encountered in the project, as well as the methods and ideas to solving the problem, it is in order to understanding the system more deeply and will maintain in the future and lay a good foundation.
