Absorption efficiency and scattering characteristics of the antenna are important parts of thestudy of antenna. In this thesis, through the simulation experiment of some of the receivingantennas, calculating their absorption efficiency, and it is found that the absorption efficiency of theantenna must not be less than or equal to50%, the absorption efficiency of the antenna can begreater than50%, and can be up to100%in theory, the incident energy can be completely absorpted.The main research content of this article is:1. This thesis introduces the property of the antenna, receiving antenna absorption analysistheory, and two kinds of antenna array that their absorption efficiency reached100%.2. The thevenin equivalent circuit is analyzed, when the load impedance is infinity, theconclusion of the thevenin equivalent circuit of receiving antenna is imperfect, andthrough simulation experiment, the defect of the thevenin equivalent circuit is proved;through circuit simulation, the correctness and feasibility of the improved theveninequivalent circuit is proved.3. Through the simulation experiment of some receiving antennas, the absorption efficiencyis calculated, and the results are compared with50%, it is found that under differentincident direction of the electromagnetic wave, the finite half-wave dipole antenna arrayhas different absorption efficiency, its absorption efficiency can be less than or equal to orgreater than50%; The absorption efficiency of ternary Yagi antenna is more than50%.4. From the simulation experiment of scattering characteristics of finite half-wave dipoleantenna array with a ground plate, it is found that after adding ground plate, thebackscattering of the antenna array is decrease significantly, while the forward scatteringis enhanced; The absorption efficiency of the system of antenna array and ground plate isless than50%, but the absorption efficiency of antenna array reaches more than90%,close to100%.
