At present, China’s third generation mobile communication standard TD-SCDMA has been commercially available for many years. As its evolved technology, TD-LTE has already been in use in some parts of the world, while in China it is at the eve of the business use. TD-LTE has got the attention of Chinese government, operators, domestic and foreign manufacturers. Centralized procurement of base stations has begun and large-scale network construction is being carried out.TD-LTE base station performance plays a key role in the maturation and commercialization of TD-LTE. Conformance testing is an important basic test. The development of TD-LTE base station RF conformance test system can provide accurate and effective testing and validation tools for base stations.Based on the existing radio interface box, cables and various testing instruments, TD-LTE base station RF conformance test system software platform has been designed and implemented in this essay.The platform is for server-side. From the aspect of levels, it can be divided into the ervice layer and the business layer. The service layer provides instruments, data access and test case services to the client. The business layer contains three modules including instruments management, data access and test case execution. In addition, test methods and instrumentation commands are described in detail. Finally, the function of the software platform is validated and future improvements are suggested.After verification, this software platform can complete TD-LTE base station RF conformance testing and has good scalability and compatibility. |
