Wireless mesh networks able to integrate heterogeneous networks, as a key technology wireless and wired network integration, with its rich and varied with the network architecture, can be used for a variety of wireless network access a wired network, make various types of business requirements are met, we can see that for a certain quality of service (Quality of Service, abbreviated QoS) assurance wireless Mesh network is a must to offer.As in recent years, the emergence of a new broadband wireless network architecture, wireless mesh inherits the characteristics of Ad Hoc network self-organization, by static Mesh backbone (Mesh Backbone) and Dynamic Mesh Access Network (Mesh Access) composition, provides a more flexible means of access to the wired network for wireless networks, including the Internet, this can be a variety of communications networks and wireless mesh network for integration, we can see that compared to other wireless mesh technology, anywhere, anytime access network, has enormous advantages.In this paper, a wireless mesh network QoS architecture is analyzed, then, for the wireless mesh network layer and the lower layers of the QoS problem, in recent years, many scholars in the cross-layer QoS routing, and QoS design such as the direction of the research results obtained were compared with a comprehensive summary and comparative analysis. Demand routing protocols and network layer DSR representative study conducted in Wireless Mesh Network. Finally, the paper studies how to measure and optimize QoS routing gateway by improving the selection criteria to improve the ability of the network QoS guarantee, and by improving the DSR routing protocol.The main innovation of this paper are:1algorithm considering the gateway and routing performance, with an average delay of conditions precedent, the impact of network QoS state routing parameters for the optimization objectives. Expansion modules are:using the address hierarchical mechanism to achieve convergence of wireless networks and wired networks; in order to make certain nodes with gateway routing functions, we complement the expansion of the set of nodes. After setting the platform after the data exchange can provide better Internet wired network and wireless Mesh network.In the final article needs to be done:In the NS2simulation platform to build and expand, we proposed the algorithm for the effective simulation, data analysis and validation. Simulation results show that: the algorithm can clearly see, reasonable selectivity gateway significantly improved routing with QoS guarantee correctness improved significantly, to achieve the purpose we guarantee QoS of the network, and for the entire wireless Mesh network transmission delay, throughput, packet loss rate and other aspects of the performance parameters have a lot of improvement.
