The Design And Implementation Of Management System For Ip Network Interated Measurement

With the gradual expansion of Internet-scale and the popularity of real-time services (such as voice and video) and multimedia applications, the Internet performance’s control mechanisms and measure techniques become more and more complex. This makes the measure of Internet performance harder than before. Therefore, in order to improve the quality of service and user experience, studying the relevant technical and support means of Internet performance measurements, completing the measurement and analysis of relevant performance indicators is necessary.At present, among all the existing means of IP network performance measurement, the kind of technique that based on non-probes can’t deliver an accurate result about the IP network’s performance. Meanwhile, the kind of technique that based on probes can accurately measure the performance of IP network, but the lack of upper management systems’ management and regulation prevents it be deployed on large-scale and truly play its role.In this paper, the existing network measurement techniques were studied and compared. Based on their problems and the needs of network quality measurement system, a cross-device network quality measurement model which support one-way indicators is designed, a mechanism which unified manage the measurement task is proposed. After designed the overall framework of this system, a management system for IP network integrated measurement has been implemented.The management system for IP network integrated measurement proposed by this paper meet existing measurement techniques’demand according to this system’s application. It improved the efficiency of network measure process and promoted the development of management system for IP network integrated measurement.
