| With the rapid development of the network application, more and more attention has been paid on the network reliability, which has become a hot spot of network research. Based on the analysis of characteristics and shortcomings of current methods and tools on network reliability, a network reliability analysis tool is designed and implemented. Following are our works:1. Comparing with the survey algorithm of the network link performance, we point out the characteristic and the insufficiency of these algorithms, analyze the methodology and the difficulty of the network topology survey algorithm, and also describe the reliability analysis method and the performance parameter.2. To improve the performance of UDP protocol, we design the system special-purpose control measure protocols CMP (Control Measure Protocol). The algorithm of the breadth-first search has been used to realize the network topology survey. We use the improved SLoPS algorithm to measure the network link performance, such as network detention, available band width etc. In the paper, how to affect the network current state as slight as possible is considered under the condition that measuring precision doesn't descend. The load balancing strategy has been implemented in this system avoiding the problem of the link bottleneck when the initiative survey carrys. We set a threshold and analyze the network reliability when the performance data have bean measured.3. In the real network environment, experiments of measurements include the network topology, the network detention, and the network bandwidth are implemented. The reliability results are drawn at last. And these results also verify that the system has good performance in the topology measurement, network link performance measurement and reliability analysis. |
