In the process of wireless and digital city construction, ubiquitous and wireless video resources, including public wireless video resources (such as traffic, attractions, house and so on) and private wireless video resources (such as home, store, hotel and so on), need to be opened and shared according to the different permissions. Opening and sharing the ubiquitous video resources is not only beneficial to some government departments such as the police, the traffic police, but also good for some other departments who need the video resources and the ordinary people. Wireless video sharing system provides resource-based, opened and flexible video sharing services based on REST architecture which makes it easy for third-party developers to develop and deploy new wireless video business or MASHUP video and other resources to build a new type of business.First of all, I describe the framework of the system which is divided into three key modules that are wireless video gateway, ubiquitous video business platform and client. In this section I also give an account of the idea how I design the system framework and the basic function of each part. Later, I carry on the detailed study on the core of the system module-wireless video gateway. Wireless video gateway is mainly divided into three layers in design which include control layer, data layer and process layer. The design and implementation of the wireless video gateway is also my main work in the whole system implementation.Secondly, I deeply research the three layers of the wireless video gateway in details. The data layer is mainly responsible for the wireless camera adapter and real-time multimedia data retrieval. The adapter of wireless cameras makes it possible for system to access various types of wireless camera which enriches the adaptability of the system. Process layer is mainly responsible for trans-coding, packing and pushing the real-time multimedia data. Packing and pushing are based on RTMP which make the system support PC, Android and IOS equipments and can support multiple concurrent terminal. Control layer is mainly responsible for the management of wireless cameras in the region and provides search and layer-management service to wireless cameras and resources open service which is realized by REST.Finally, I complete the software of the wireless video gateway and test its basic function. At the same time I also test and analyze its performance, such as real time, the compatibility of wireless cameras and CPU utilization. Test results come to meet the expected requirement and the wireless video gateway runs stably.
