With the Ministry of education’s "school-to-school" policy being introduced, many primaryand secondary schools are accelerating the step of establishing school website to promote theroutine work, show the school’s image and promote the information construction of school. Now,the construction level of the primary and secondary school websites lags behind that of Collegesdue to the inadequate financial and weak technical strength. Campus networks and servers aregenerally performed clumsily, and many of them are still static, lacking of background management.With the increasing amount of information of the websites, the construction, update andmaintenance play an important part in the website work. Hence, it is necessary for a web designer tocreate a new form of website--a website group platform system basing on the content management,to solve the redundancy, sharing, style confusion and not unified management problem ofinformation.The system is a simple and practical background management system. It uses the technologyof ASP.NET2.0(C#) and the mode of B/S and its development and design are introduced basing ona web site of ShiTangWan primary school in Wuxi. In this paper, we firstly analyze the actual needsof the current construction of information in primary schools and then on the basis of that, wedefine the main module and functions of the website group platform system, which includes theuser login, rights management, website construction, article publishing, website group constructionand management, integrated utilization of the third-party applications and so on. At last, we carriedout the detailed design and implementation which includes the database design and theimplementation of the main modules.The running results of the platform above demonstrates that the system can greatly improve theefficiency of website constructing, information managing and information sharing.
