The Design And Implementation Of A Normal School Website Content Management System

With the rapid development of the Internet in China, the network has become indispensable important component in our life. Many enterprises and institutions have established their integrated portal website, hoping to publicize themselves by the website and they want to timely release and get information, make full use of information, in order to maximize value of the information. Content management system (CMS) is a kind of for specialized website editing and publishing management application system, which can help ease website maintenance, and reduce the complexity of a variety of website, regulate website backstage information management and release process. Because the website content management systems on the market can not meet the different requirements in each school. So, I design and develop a content management system which would fit for the customer demands.This paper introduces the development background of content management system and current situation, analyses and compares the existing products. This system uses object-oriented software design method, the design and development phases are in accordance with the unified modeling language (UML) request. The systematic demand analysis adopts Use Case View to represent users'mostly demand; in system detailed design phase,use of Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagram and other forms explain the system composition and various parts of relations. This system adopts the B/S frame, ASP.NET technology and SQL Server2005 for Backend database.The system is composed of the following function modules:user login, user management, website system management, news management and release, columns management and template management. The different sub-modules which some of modules include realize specific function. When the system comes into service, it not only can accomplish content management for school web, but also can realize the columns management and template management. System administrators can manage other users and assign operation permissions to user through this system, and the user permissions will be restricted to a particular column range.
