Localization perception services are applied in people’s daily life widely with lots of breakthrough in the fields such as internet and sensor technology. RFID has many advantages such as non-contact, non-line-of-sight (NLOS), high positioning accuracy, which results in being the preference in the numerous indoor localization technologies. My article focuses on the research of indoor localization based on RFID. What I’ve worked hard are as follows:At first, I get the acquaintance about the development history of indoor localization and the present research condition at home and abroad. The common localization algorithms and the metrics and drawbacks are introduced, whose applications in indoor localization are expatiated.Secondly, LANDMARC algorithms are studied, which includes the establishment of RSSI link model, algorithms analysis and programming of LANDMARC. The article introduces the emulation on LANDMARC system based on MATLAB platform and analysis of reader location. Also it analyzes how the reader location and reference label density influence the system localization precision. The metrics and drawbacks of LANDMARC system are concluded.Next, this article presents a quick localization algorithm which is layered and regional. The improved algorithm is better than the previous ones, which is proved through algorithm analysis and emulation. It lowers the calculation redundancy and speeds up the localization. In the meanwhile, the system precision is improved because error-correcting is added. The experiment turns out that the improved algorithm can enhance the system speed and the localization precision.Last but not the least, the improved algorithm is applied on the practical working platform. Based on LANDMARC algorithms, the localization effects in different algorithms are compared in the same experiment condition. The most suitable algorithm that’s been selected is improved and optimized. I also enhance the localization effects of the algorithm in the practical application.
