With the development of LCD industry and the innovation of LCD design and technology, test technology of TFT-LCD is required to improve itself also. For years foreign companies mastered the LCD test technology, and we had to import test machines, such as J600and J1000from Korea. This made the test machine cost very expensive. Therefore, to master the core test technology of TFT-LCD and to develop professional test machines become more and more important.This thesis records the research based on Field-Programmable Gate Array (hereinafter referred to as FPGA) TFT-LCD test system, which mainly includes the following works:(1)Based on deep study of TFT-LCD display theory and current situation of domestic and international test machines, the whole development plan of test system is selected according to the actual function needs(2)Set up a FPGA hardware implementation platform, comparison and selection of hardware modules and implementation of power control, clock control, and sequential control and MIPI bridge connection are realized respectively;(3)Through software programming to formulate the communication protocol among all processers; be cooperated with control of digital power module, clock control module and MIPI bridge connection module, and with the display of pictures in different logic on the TFT-LCD with the help of parameter configuration, the picture test function is implemented;(4)The TFT-LCD module test system designed according to this thesis is used to do signal test, in order to evaluate the actual result of all functional modules and MIPI signal, the actual effect of the test system is verified.In this thesis the domestic test equipment designed and made that is a drive way for one can drive two pieces of module at the same time, finally realizes the test equipment has been used in a liquid crystal display module manufacturing factory. The result of the thesis indicates that with the development of domestic LCD industry, many core technologies including test technology have been mastered by domestic companies. Test technology, as one of the significant technology of LCD manufacture process, has been developed a lot in domestic companies.
