Reaearch And Development On RFID-based People And Vehiche Management System For Large-scale Events

Hosting the major event is a chance to demonstrate the country’s comprehensive strength, government administrative capacity, urban management ability and urban civilization level. In addition, it is an opportunity to exhibit the country’s international image and to enhance the country’s international competitiveness. Personnel and vehicle information management system is the foundation to guarantee the safety of people and vehicle involved in major event.This thesis proposes new requirements of major event personnel and vehicle information management, which based on analyzing the current situation of personnel and vehicle management based on RFID in major event. The thesis constructs an advanced personnel and vehicle information management system based on RFID. Meanwhile, the author customizes a detailed operation and maintenance security hierarchy system including the features of major event, to guarantee the normal and efficient operation of the system through the project life-cycle from development to the end.The author applies the RFID-based personnel and vehicle information management system in Guangzhou Asian Games. The results approve that the system can identify the counterfeit tickets and credentials effectively, solve the emergency efficiently, reduce the cost of management, enhance the management specialization and marketization, and guarantee the security of the major event successfully.
