Self-service has become one of the major ways and channels to bank service, whose advantages are embodied in providing a new convenient fast self-servicebanking service in large flow financial service field, by using high-tech means. Self-service terminal becomes more and more popular, and banks and other financialsectors pay much attention to the development and construction of the self-serviceterminal system. Therefore, this article embarks from the direction of bank’s businessdemands, discusses the necessity of implementation of bank self-help terminal, anddesigns a set of bank self-help terminal equipment system. The design of the systemaims to divide more counter service into self-help terminal equipments, which canimprove the performance of self-help terminal. The design of the self-help terminal system is divided into two parts, includingthe front part for the customers and the background part for the administrators. Theclient system is running in the self-service terminal display interface for users, whereas the background system is used for management. To develop the standardinterface in the development process, docking among different hosting system isavailable. In the development and implementation of the system, in accordance withinternational standards and domestic norms is very important. The system design adopts hierarchical thinking, which means encapsulatingdifferent business processes and hardware communication into different hierarchy. Atthe same time, implementing independent operation on hardware could minimizeincompatibility of different devices. Therefore the system can be well known andadapt to the equipment under different environment better. In the design process ofthis system it firstly analyzes the actual needs of customers and administrators. Thencombining the advantages and characteristics of the existing system, it provides atransaction process with unified formal interface, realizes business expansion, andimproves the efficiency of bank industry actively. The design for security of the system learns from the design method of threeencryption key in security domain. Three-level encryption system encrypts differentparts of the system to achieve hierarchical confidentiality. In the system developmentenvironment the background part and foreground part are developed respectively byusing the Linux system and Windows system. In the data operation part using theOracle database ensures docking with the existing system data part, consistent withthe requirements of the current commercial system. The front part of the system design closes to user interactions, and thebackground part fully corresponds to the administrators’ management process. Therefore, on this basis it can be fully realized that business of the front part and thebackground part and logic integrate. At the same time communicating by differentinterface specification between foreground and background can block business logicbetween two layers. It also can better meet processing requirements for business ofdifferent levels in order to achieve the design concept of good high cohesion and lowcoupling.System is designed to transfer more non cash business from counter to theself-help terminal and achieve the divergence of customer in order to save waitingtime. Simultaneously it can liberate the user free from complex operation process andregulate a variety of business in the system. Thus on the basis of the task the system isregulated achieve the desired objectives. At the same time the process of bankingoperation is fully understood. By analyzing the situation of the current bankself-service equipment, the corresponding design of this system has been achieved. Therefore in the process of the whole design the initial purpose is fully implemented, and the effect of actual operation is also satisfactory.
