In order to grasper the actual working status of all the different school andprofessional, the management department of teachers in teaching and scientificresearch put forward many requirements. The basic information in these forms areroughly same, but completely different in the format. This is the reason why teachersmust fill in forms several times each year, wasting a lot of time and informationinconsistent. The electric power college will also eager to make college’s teaching,scientific research and management to standardized, systematic and real-time digitaland paperless. Through the network make all of the instituted work realizingcomprehensive informatization, integration, standardization. In order to avoid theteachers wasting unnecessary time, accelerate the pace of college of electric powerinformation construction, it is urgent need to develop the information systems thatcan meet the demand of electric power college of work.This paper is based on the thinking of software engineering, and deeplyanalyses of the teachers, teaching, researching and other business documents, and italso gives the need for systematic analysis. From requirements analysis, this paperextracts the core term, and targets and classifies according to different attributes, andat the same time the paper sums up the teachers’ basic information, the paperinformation, innovative projects and some other entities; The paper scientificallydesigns association between different entities, and based on data model, it designsthe model of management information system for a power institute. Fromrequirements analysis and design, this paper extracts the model of the system, andeach sub-function designs features of a coarse-grained function. According to thefunction model, data model, the paper designs the flowcharts of the additional teachers’ basic information, teachers’ education and work experience and thefunction of papers inquiry, and the corresponding description. On the basis of thedetailed design, the system uses SQL Server as the backend database, and uses theprogramming language C#, and based on MVC pattern designs the program ofmanagement information system for an electric power institute.System can complete the faction of teachers’ basic information, workexperience, academic papers, scientific research projects, rewarding, course, guidingstudents, examination arrangements, conference room use, SMS notificationinformation such like the centralized storage and management function, and it alsocan undertake all kinds of information, statistical analysis of different angles, andbased on the same database to complete different types automatically fill in the formand some another the functions such as export. The role of different users can usethe system at the same time and realize the "one-stop" service.System can improve the management efficiency and standardization of theelectric power college effect, and let the teachers liberate from no technical content,meaningless, repetitive labor. Teacher just use a little mouse generate thecorresponding form, and greatly save the workload, and at the same time improvedthe precision of data statistics. let the teachers put more energy into teaching,scientific research, and develop the standardization of school management to play apositive role in promoting.
