With the constantly develop of electric power enterprise, how to improve the manage efficiency has became one of the most important problems which will influence the development of electric power enterprises. Electric Power Design Institute as an essential component, through create an advanced management information system is an effective method to enhance the management and improve the manage efficiency. This paper hammered at the study and on exploitation of Electric Power Design Institute Management Information System.Through the analysis of deficiencies and defects of management information system now used in Electric Power Design Institute, we presented a program which applied advanced computer technology to establish our management information system with B/S (Browser/Server) structure.Based on the detailed study of Electric Power Design Institute management,through the analysis of management process and users’needs,we accomplished the design of system structure and functional modules,and gathered the data imformation of Electric Power Design Institute to build our data base.system.Meanwhile in this article there was a detailed introduction of computer technology which was crucial in our management information system as:ASP^Data Base Theory and so on. Finally, we analyzed the safe promblems of this system and displayed the practical application of Electric Power Design Institute management information system in detail.This Management Information System is based on B/S structure. We apply Microsoft.NET as our development platform, choose SQL SERVER as database management system, use Visual Studio.Net、Photoshop as our develop tools, C#、 Javascript as our language to accomplish the development and study of Electric Power Design Institute Management Information System.
