Tool For Comparing Upgrade Data Of ZTE Unified Network Management System

ZTE has developed a variety of types of unified Network Management System. All these network management systems are new generation of wired unified network management system. Uniting all the features of fixed net, IP, terminalsand services network, All these NMS are able to achieve network management function of load bearing network, core network, access network and other scenes, and All these NMS are good to meet the needs of network convergence development.In these unified network management systems, E300network management system is mainly used to manage a small network, T3NMS is mainly used to manage a large networks, and U3NMS is an upgraded version of the T3NMS,which is more powerful than T3. In the actual project, there is a need to upgrade E300or T3NMS to U3NMS.This paper aims to solve operational problems due to the inconsistency of NMS data before upgrading and after and A complete tool to parse and analyze NMS data before and after upgrading will be developed. This tool can compare the consistency of the NMS data and output detailed results finally (including consistent data, inconsistent data, the extra data, etc). This tool currently only support analysis and comparison of SDH/OTN network management information.The system has four modules, which are used to compare cross-connect information, network protection information, optical connection information and board and NE information of different network management system, analyzing data comparison results of four aspects, User can get consistent result of four aspects, so users can get final results of the comparison results between the network management system. This tool currently only supports analysis and comparison of SDH/OTN network management information.The main work of the paper is as follows:(1) Introduction of the theories of the network management system and some important concepts of the ZTE NMS.(2) Depending on the needs of ZTE NMS previously, I carried out an analysis and design for the tool and implemented the tool finally.(3) I setted up a test environment and tested the function of the tool and analysed the result of the test finally.
